About Me 

Charlotte is based near Helston in Cornwall where she lives with her family alongside her herd of horses. Charlotte has a passion for helping horses in anyway she can and has a natural connection with them that helps her understand how is best to help them. Charlotte is able to Treat and train your horse and you, covering Cornwall, Devon and Somerset through general yard visits, zone days and dedicated county visits.

Born in Somerset Charlotte's love of horses started around her 4th birthday where she first sat on her next door neighbours beautiful palomino horse called Phillagrie. Once she had the bug she was lucky enough to get her own Shetland on loan called Razzle Dazzle. Charlotte then iwent on to join Wylye Valley Pony Club where she enjoyed many years of day and residential camps with various horses and ponies.

During her school years charlotte worked on yards Handling stallions, broodmares, youngstock, eventers, dressage horses and race horses. After leaving school she went on to be Head Groom for a top event rider called Jo May and gained valuable experience caring for and riding top class horses. Over the years she has competed in a variety of disciplines including dressage, show jumping , showing and eventing including one of her personal highlights, eventing BE Novice at Longleat HT.

Charlotte is passionate about holistic management and care with horses believing it is the most effective way in which to work with and successfully treat horses to minimise any reoccurring or future injuries. She has her own horses, some of which she has rehabilitated, that she trains and competes in a variety of disciplines. As well as rehabilitation, training and competing Charlotte is also keen to promote Holistic Mindful breeding where the unborn foal already has a home and a purpose. Charlotte has bred her own homebred filly out of her TB mare Mexilhoeira and by her Stallion That Boy Ronnie.

Charlotte holds the following qualifications: Equine Bowen therapy RFCES, The Bowen Technique ECBS, Advanced one Bowen Therapy ECBS, CPD Equine Stretches RFCES, BHS riding and care Stage 1 and 2 and coaching qualification Stage 2 Teach. Charlotte always continues to further her knowledge by attending lectures, demonstrations and CPD courses, reading related equine material and keeping up to date with the latest research and practice methods
